Baked chicken nuggets

Spicy and crispy crust and tender meat that melts in your mouth - and all this without a gram of extra fat. They're a great idea for a snack or a dinner base.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (350 g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp freshly grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tsp granulated garlic
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Method

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into large chunks. Try to make them even.
  2. Prepare the crust. Beat an egg in a bowl. On a separate plate, mix together breadcrumbs, salt, paprika, oregano, cayenne, garlic and parmesan.
  3. Cover each piece of chicken with a layer of flour, then egg, and then the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Line a baking pan with aluminum oil and spread a bit of oil on it. Place the prepared chicken nuggets on the pan; cover them with a thin layer of oil.
  5. Bake in an oven preheated to 200oC (fan) for 20 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
