Today I'd like to share a recipe for avocado dip - the popular guacamole.
I like to serve guacamole alongside spicy Mexican dishes, such as chili or nachos, as it offers a pleasant soothing flavour. I do even use guacamole as a sandwich spread every now and again!
You'll find the list of ingredients, method and approximate nutritional values below.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- Spring onions
- A bunch of fresh coriander (15 g)
- 3 tbsp lime juice (30 ml)
- Salt to taste
Method
- Open up the avocado and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and mash it up with a fork.
- Chop the spring onions and fresh coriander finely and add it to avocado.
- Pour in lime juice.
- Season with salt.
- Mix the guacamole thoroughly.
- Enjoy!
